It’s funny how an idea can take on a life all it’s own – really, one of two opposing lives. There’s the idea that rattles around in my thoughts. Moving me to distraction at every still moment of the day. Never to go much further. Perhaps too much thought renders the idea into a tiresome job; much too much work before the work begins.
Then, of course, there is the idea that I find so ingenious that I don’t give it a second thought before taking steps to make that idea a closer reality. While still surrounded by my perceived genius, that idea begins to demand more than I might have been willing to sacrifice…had I only thought it through.
